UNITED BENEFICE – You may have noticed that the title on the top of this page is a slightly different; it means that since 1st August we are now the United Benefice of Ampfield, Chilworth and North Baddesley. The Revd Peter Gilks is the Vicar of the three parishes and has the care of all four churches, ably assisted by the churchwardens and Ministry Team consisting of Revds Julia Foster and Vanessa Lawrence (Assistant Priests) Revd Claire Maxim who has recently joined us as a Curate in training, and Mr. Dave Foster and Mrs Sally Kerson, who are Readers.

NEW ORGAN AT ST JOHN THE BAPTIST
By the time the "Beadle" comes into print we shall have the new organ installed at St John’s. We are enormously grateful to people from the village, the Companions of St John’s and all the others who have contributed so generously to make this possible. The bangs and whistles will now be a thing of the past and we shall have an instrument (made quite locally in Ringwood) that is state-of-the-art. Please come and hear it at one of our evening services!
