On Wednesday evening 3rd March, many of us gathered at the North Baddesley Health Centre to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of The Michael Witt Information Room, which opened on 4th March 2000 in memory of Michael Witt, a patient of the Practice who sadly died on 31st December 1999.

At the time it was the wish of his family, in discussion with Dr S Skeates, to have this room to offer all patients and non-patients as much help and information possible when required. This room is operated solely by volunteers and funded purely by fund-raising and donations.

There were many volunteers past and present who came along for the evening as well as Trevor and Sandy Witt and son Steven and his wife Lyn, also Alan and Celia Dowden (HCC/Borough) and David Knight, Chairman of North Baddesley Parish Council. The evening was hosted by the Chairman and Committee of the Patient Participation Group.
