THINKING OF STARTING YOUR OWN BUSINESS?
For a wide variety of reasons, more and more people
are starting their own business and a growing proportion of those in
Test Valley live in the rural area, a trend which is forecast to
continue. Whether it’s web site design, gardening or skilled trades or
complementary therapy, hundreds of people have been supported to "go it
alone" over the last five years.
The Council provides a package of support for people
considering starting their own business which includes free advice from
a local enterprise agency, small business premises on easy in-easy out
terms and the £500 Business Incentive Grant, now entering its sixth
year.
