Community Vision for North Baddesley (Formerly the Parish Plan) We were very pleased to meet so many residents at the recent Village Day. We were asking: what you like about North Baddesley, what you don't like and and if you had a £1,000 to spend, how/what would you improve in the village. We had many and varied opinions from people of all ages and from all over the village and we will be following up this initial consultation with an open day during October and we would like to invite all North Baddesley residents to come along and help us shape the future of the village. This really is your chance to make a difference, so please don't miss it! Look out for posters for further details. There was a lot of feedback regarding reinstating the children’s play area on the Recreation Ground and the Parish Council are now in the process of obtaining quotes. They will also be looking at running a Baddesley in Bloom competition in response to the lack of flowers in the village. Our committee is made up totally of local residents and has no affiliation to any church or the Parish Council. You can find out lots more about Community Led Planning on the Hampshire County Council website. We are in great need of committee members and volunteers to help us over the next year, whether you are new to the village or a long standing resident, everyone is welcome. Please contact Tracy on (023) 8041 0917 or feel free to come along to our next meeting on 18th August, 6.30pm at the North Baddesley Sports Pavillion.
